APEX Lubrication wasn’t born in a boardroom—it was born in the field, in workshops, and at the range. As oilfield professionals with deep expertise in specialty chemicals, we set out on a side project to create a better lubricant for our own firearms and gear. What began as a weekend experiment using our in-house base stocks quickly evolved into something more: a mission to challenge the status quo of conventional gun lubes and engineer a product specifically designed for the modern firearm.
We weren’t satisfied with off-the-shelf solutions—products that left behind residue, broke down under heat, or failed in harsh conditions. So we applied the same rigorous formulation standards that drive our high-performance downhole chemicals. We tested, refined, and reworked until APEX took shape: a purpose-built firearm lubricant designed from the ground up—not repurposed from industrial oils or diluted with marketing gimmicks.
As the formula improved, so did our ambitions. In our relentless pursuit of excellence, we placed APEX in the hands of those who demand peak performance—law enforcement officers, SWAT teams, military units, special forces operators, Olympic-level competitors, and firearms manufacturers. They pushed it to its limits, running it through extreme conditions, sustained fire, and aggressive maintenance cycles. Over 1 million rounds were fired in testing, challenging every aspect of the product in real-world scenarios. And with every round of feedback, we fine-tuned the formula further.
We challenged every detail—from viscosity and thermal stability to corrosion resistance and residue control—refining until APEX could meet and exceed the expectations of the most demanding users. The result is a product built on technical integrity, field-proven performance, and an uncompromising respect for the gear it’s meant to protect.
